Kargoza Logistics

Automotive

Automotive parts and vehicle logistics.

Automotive supply chains are zero-error environments. A single Tier-2 supplier miss can idle an entire assembly line, and OEM penalties start the clock the moment a sequenced delivery arrives in the wrong order. Kargoza Logistics moves Tier-1 and Tier-2 parts, sub-assemblies, and finished vehicles for automotive manufacturers and suppliers across the U.S.

How we serve automotive

We support OEMs, Tier-1 integrators, and Tier-2 suppliers with the precision that just-in-sequence and just-in-time operations demand. Coverage spans full truckload, dedicated capacity, and expedited recovery for line-side emergencies. Our operations team understands the difference between “on time” and “in sequence” — both matter, and they’re not the same thing.

Sequenced delivery and JIT/JIS

Just-in-sequence delivery requires the right part, in the right order, at the right time window — usually with a delivery window measured in tens of minutes, not hours. Kargoza runs closed-loop, scheduled routes with consistent drivers, dedicated equipment where utilization supports it, and real-time exception reporting when a pickup or delivery is at risk.

Returnable packaging and empty container management

Automotive parts move in returnable packaging — racks, totes, dunnage — that has to come back. We manage the empty container return loop as part of the active move, not as a separate task, and we sequence empties to support your next build cycle.

Network coverage and lane depth

Kargoza operates contracted automotive capacity across the major U.S. manufacturing corridors — the Midwest auto corridor from Michigan through Ohio and into Kentucky and Tennessee, the Southeast transplant region, the Texas corridor, and the cross-border lane from Mexico. We run continuous loops between Tier-2 suppliers and OEM plants, manage returnable packaging flow, and provide visibility into every leg of your inbound and outbound freight. As your network expands, we extend coverage into new lanes with the same discipline you’ve come to expect on existing lanes.

Equipment used

  • Dedicated tractors and trailers for closed-loop supplier and plant networks.
  • Dry van for packaged components and sub-assemblies.
  • Flatbed and step-deck for large stampings, body components, and oversized parts.
  • Expedited sprinter and straight truck for line-down recovery and tooling.

OEM scorecard visibility

Major OEM scorecards reward on-time-in-full, ASN accuracy, and damage-free delivery. We track the metrics your customers track, surface issues early, and align our continuous improvement plan with your quarterly OEM business reviews.

Common challenges we solve

Automotive shippers tell us the same three things: missed supplier pickups that cascade downstream, inconsistent carrier performance on Tier-2 lanes, and limited visibility into where a load is when the line is waiting. We solve these through scheduled carrier qualifications, lane-by-lane performance reviews, and real-time shipment visibility tied into your production schedule.

Our approach

We start by mapping your supplier tiers, plant locations, and lane economics. We benchmark carrier performance on every active lane, identify lanes that need dedicated capacity, and build a continuous improvement plan tied to your OEM scorecards. As volume grows, we transition lanes from spot to contracted and integrate EDI so your team gets out of the middle.

Frequently asked questions

Do you support EDI for OEM scorecard reporting?

Yes. We transact on the EDI sets your OEM requires and can produce the shipment-status data feeds that feed into your scorecard reporting.

Can you run a Tier-2 pickup loop with multiple stops per day?

Absolutely. Multi-stop, time-windowed loops are core to our automotive operation. We build the schedule with you and hold carriers to it.

What happens when a line goes down?

We trigger an expedited recovery move immediately, on a pre-qualified carrier, with real-time updates to your line-side coordinator. We keep expedited capacity on standby on critical lanes.
